What we do...
Leek Writers are an informal and friendly local society dedicated to promoting writing and writers in North Staffordshire.
Our members have a range of different ages and backgrounds, some of our regulars have been writing for a while, others are just starting to write.
The group includes would-be novelists, poets, and people who just like putting their thoughts down on paper. We try to provide a supportive social atmosphere for fellow writers and also organise quarterly meals in the Leek area (so writers can take a break from writing and enjoy some good food!).
The group is currently looking for a new regular venue for our monthly meetings. Our next meeting on May 2nd will take place at The Blue Mugge pub in Leek.
